Ummm…let’s see….
…school’s been in session for a month and my house is cleaner, but I’m not as productive as I predicted…
…Monkey Do had his birthday…he is officially 5 years old and turning into a total goofball…
…Monkey See lost his very first tooth at school. When he got home he immediately lost it down the drain while he was washing it off for the 50th time. Thankfully daddy rescued it from the drain trap so the tooth fairy didn’t have to fly down there herself…
…I spend part of everyday thinking I’m going to have this baby any minute now. But so far he has cooperated and stayed put. My calendar isn’t cleared for him until the end of the week (baby shower Thursday, work commitment Friday) then anytime after that is fair game…
…Speaking of games…we went to the BYU v. Air Force game.
It was an adventure…you know, the kind of adventure where you are determined to have a good time even though all the forces of nature are conspiring against you…for example two Monkeys that declared on the way into the stadium that they were bored…and BYU greasing their hands with Crisco after the first quarter.
(Monkey Do spent most of his time “sleeping” or kicking the poor lady in front of us…)
With the Cougs leaving the Mountain West this is the last time the two teams will match up, which is a bummer. I like football and all, but not enough to get cable or travel to see games.
On a good note, Boise State will be in the conference, so we’ll still have cause to wander over to Falcon Stadium and cheer for the visiting team.
